Scottish Wild Salmon
Known as the ‘King of Fish’, the species of Salmo Salar are caught in rivers and coastal fisheries throughout Scotland and up to 1,500 metres off the Scottish Coast.
They are able to clear seemingly insurmountable obstacles during their journey to spawn. From waterfalls to weirs, Scottish salmon have been known to leap vertical obstacles over 3 metres tall.
Bright silver in colour, with a dark blue back and deep pink flesh, the Scottish wild salmon is distinguishable due to its perfect markings.
