Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Scotland’s most celebrated artist, architect and designer born in Glasgow 1868.

His designs and style are still recognisable today. Especially the design of his famous Hill House Chair (named after the Hill House in Scotland).

What is interesting is Macintosh felt that the design was far more important than the function, and the chair was intended more as an art piece than to actually be used as a chair.

Washing Instructions

Machine wash, 30˚C. Wash similar colours together. No ironing on print. Wash and iron inside out. Do not tumble dry.
