Golden Wonder Crisps

In 1947, William Alexander made his first batch of Golden Wonder potato crisps in Edinburgh. 

He named his company after the Golden Wonder potato and by 1960, Golden Wonder became the leading crisp brand in Scotland.

Today the brand is no longer Scottish owned but it’s nice to know where it originated from.
